Kevin Cuddy received his A.B. (1997, summa cum laude) from Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine, and his J.D. (2000, magna cum laude) from Duke University School of Law. While at Duke, Mr. Cuddy served as the Editor-in-Chief of the law review and was elected to the Order of the Coif.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Cuddy was a trial lawyer at Ropes & Gray LLP in Boston, Massachusetts for seven years. His primary focus was complex civil litigation, including contract disputes, environmental matters, securities class actions, and insurance issues for the London and Bermuda markets.
Mr. Cuddy also has maintained a sports law practice, advising student-athletes and institutions on NCAA eligibility matters, as well as representing dozens of college basketball coaches in their contract negotiations. Mr. Cuddy has spoken on sports law issues at Boston College Law School, Duke University School of Law, the Boston Bar Association, and the Sports Lawyers Association. Mr. Cuddy is admitted to practice in Alaska, and previously was admitted in Massachusetts.
